The best parliamentarian award Wangtshen Gyalo Bhutia

Joyjit Choudhury (right), the founder and the chairman of the Indian Institute of Legal Studies and additional advocate general of Bengal, hands over an award to a student, Wangtshen Gyalo Bhutia of St Joseph's School, Darjeeling, on Saturday. It was the second and last day of the 10th edition of the Youth Parliament hosted by the institute in Siliguri. Altogether, 140 students from over 30 schools joined the event and debated on two themes. "Social Media Influencers: Trendsetters or Misinformers?" and "Live Streaming of Court Proceedings: Transparency or Sensationalism?" during these two days. Bhutia was lauded as the best parliamentarian. The tag of high commendation was bestowed upon Sounabho Sarkar of DAV School, Siliguri, while Anushka Karmakar of St Joseph School, Bhaktinagar, was acclaimed the best speaker.
